Course #NDC-AHJ-PS001 (4 hours CEU Credits)

Course instructor is an RF/DAS Engineer with decades of experience in the Telecom Industry from Wireless Carriers, DAS Integrators, and DAS/PS Equipment OEMs. The presentation will provide a current state of Mobility, Basic understanding of RF and In-Building Solution Design approaches and a high level overview on how this relates to NFPA 72, 1221 & IFC 510, and NFPA 1225 Code requirements.

This training session is designed to provide a fundamental understanding of how ERCES In-Building Distributive Antenna Systems (DAS) work to solve the critical need for ubiquitous communications for the First Responders, AHJ's and Public Safety officials. There will be a Q&A opportunity at the end of each section.

Overview:

NFPA / IFC 510 Codes – Overview of sections of National and International Fire Codes that address In-Building Wireless First Responder Coverage Solutions for equipment standards, installation guidelines, and testing.

RF101 – Designed to provide a quick and understandable introduction to:
