NDC offers BDA Acceptance testing, both pre BDA acceptance testing for design implementation approval and post BDA acceptance testing for AHJ acceptance.

In order to get a building CO on a remodel, or new build, all buildings requiring ERRCS must have BDA Acceptance Testing to ensure acceptable signals are present in predetermine percentages throughout the building, such as 99% in critical areas and 95% in common areas.

BDA Acceptance Testing:    Small commercial buildings such as single stories and open floor plans; the technician should set five (5) tests plots, one in each of the four corners and one in the center of the building.    Medium buildings such as a small school, light industrial, or medical offices; the technician should set test plots along the core and in each corner of the building, and then set plots at a maximum of 25 ft. intervals between the previous plots in a acceptance pattern.   Large buildings such as a shopping mall, a factory, or a building above five stories;  the technician should plot along the core and in each corner of the building, and then set plots at a maximum of 50 ft. intervals between the previous plots in a acceptance pattern.

Results:  For small commercial buildings with a small amount of plots, readings shall have a no “fail” condition, resulting in 100% of the floor area @ -95 dbm or better in signal strength. For medium and large commercial buildings with a greater number of plots, readings shall be at 90% to 99% and show readings of  -95 dBm or better for General Structure and Critical Areas.

These tests shall be presented on the floor plans with signal strength measurements being reflected, showing before and after measurements.    NDC offers our services to building owners, contractors, and integrators / installers.  We are a one stop Contractor offering end to end in building wireless solutions the right way, with full level services.
